Lako lands deal with graphics software giant

Melbourne, Victoria. In a partnership agreement effective from March 16^th, 2007, Lako Pacific will distribute the full range of Corel software products to the Australian retail market following the acquisition of Intervideo-Ulead by Corel Corporation, late August 2006. The distribution will see Lako Pacific range Corel’s flagship products, CorelDraw, Word Perfect & PaintShop Pro in the retail marketplace, in addition to the Intervideo & Ulead video, DVD & image editing products currently being distributed by Lako Pacific. For the retailers, this marks a consolidation of well-known multimedia brands available from Lako, traditionally specialising in distributing multimedia software for the retail channel.
